Acalanes High School honors the Bay Miwok, and in particular the Saklan nation, as the original caretakers of the land where our school district resides. Their history and living culture are deeply intertwined with this area, spanning thousands of years. We also acknowledge the neighboring East Bay Ohlone nations and recognize the ongoing contributions of both the Bay Miwok and East Bay Ohlone people to our communities.
